Receiving Blanket Decorations
Don't throw out those receiving blankets, use them to make some decorative containers. You can use a coffee can, or an oatmeal container, or even just a box. Cut up a retired receiving blanket into little pieces (squares, triangles, rectangles) and then let your toddler help to glue the pieces to the outside of a container. You can even decorate your wipes containers! These could make some great baby shower gifts too!

Supplies Needed-
- old receiving blanket
- scissors (adult use only)
- glue
- container to cover

Tips/Suggestions-
- Let your toddler find something to decorate! You can even decorate just a piece of cardboard and hang it up with some ribbon if you want!
