Toddler
chalkboard!
Chalkboards are great for practicing letters, shapes
and numbers. Here's an activity for you and your toddler
to make a fun toddler chalkboard, that might even turn
into a gift for a relative. You'll need a craft
chalkboard from a craft store that has a wooden frame.
(The photo used a board that is about 7 inches by 6
inches.) Then with some neat craft scissors cut out all
sorts of strips of different colored construction paper.
Then take some glue and apply it to one side of the wood
frame. Let your toddler put some of the strips of paper
over to cover up the wood. Then move on to the next
side. When you have completed all four sides, you'll
have a wonderfully colored masterpiece! You can attach
some string to the back to hang it on the wall if you
like!
