Toddler Name Tags!
Does your toddler go to playgroups or maybe school a few days a week? Then here's a great activity to make some durable name tags for those lunch bags, backpacks, and other personal items so they don't get lost. Write or print your toddler's name and last initial on a piece of paper and let your toddler color around it. Then cut it out. Let your toddler choose a color of felt and cut a piece of felt so that it creates a nice border behind the name tag. Next, lay some contact paper with the sticky side up, put the felt, then the name tag on top and cover it with another piece of contact paper to seal it in. Push down all around the felt so that it seals tight, a good exercise for those tiny toddler fingers! Cut the extra contact paper around the felt leaving about a quarter inch border with more at one end so that you can punch a hole and tie some ribbon/yarn on it.

Supplies Needed- - paper - markers - contact paper/tape - ribbon - felt Tips/Suggestions- - Let your toddler help choose the ribbon colors, or felt colors. - Talk about the different shapes of felt you use. - Use a color that your toddler likes so that he'll be able to recognize his nametag. You can use shapes too!
