Awesome Kitchen Gadget: Pineapple Slicer and Party time!
So I just had to do a post about this gadget because it has turned into one of my favorites! It’s a Pineapple slicer that does all the work for you and makes you look real good a parties!
First you slice off the top of the pineapple.
Then you put the Awesome Pineapple Slicer Gadget on the top of the pineapple, right in the center over the core.
Then you hold onto the top and twist as you push down slightly. Ask you twist, it will slice a layer of the pineapple!
You keep twisting until you get to the bottom. You should be able to tell, since it won’t go any further. Then you pull the entire gadget with pineapple on it out of the skin. You might need to jiggle a little back and forth as you pull.
When you pull out the gadget you’ll see that you have one long continuous piece of pineapple in a corkscrew on the gadget. You can then remove the top handle on the gadget and slide off the pineapple to cut it up.
I then use a knive to cut out the core that is left in the bottom of the pineapple skin,
Then I put the cut up pieces of pineapple inside the skin! Lovely, isn’t it? Big thanks to my Aunt and Uncle that sent me this for Christmas last year! Mwah!
(Hint: to transport to a party, I would place the top back on, and then use a couple of toothpicks on either side to hold the top in place)
