A, B, C, D, Alphabet on a String

A, B, C, D…on a string!
String up the letters of the alphabet to hang up in your room! Here’s a great activity that your toddler will enjoy, review letters of the alphabet and have something to put up in his/her room! Print out thesheets of the alphabet letters and let your toddler color the sheets with markers or crayons. Put some contactpaper over each sheet after your toddler is done coloring them. Then cut out the letter blocks and punch holes where the black circles are. Next find some yarn/string and string the letters together! You can make the letters go across or up and down. It’s up to you and where you want to hang the alphabet decoration! Now it’s time to sing the favorite Alphabet song!!!

 Supplies needed:
– printer and paper to print alphabet sheets A-O and P-Z
– contact paper (not required, but helps when stringing the letters together)
– markers/crayons
– scissors
– yarn/string

 Tips/Suggestions:
– Talk about each letter as your toddler either colors it or as you string them together
– While stringing them together, see if your toddler can hand you each letter in order so that you can help to string them together.
– Remember to sing the Alphabet song while doing this activity!
